About me

 

A 360° view of the process.

I have the unique experience of being the only writer at a boutique agency, and have from time to time taken on the roles of strategist, project manager, client account manager, site mapper, UI/UX considerer and general pusher of strategic and creative vision.

For five+ years I’ve pushed our young but talented team to think strategically as well as creatively about our work, and I’ve pushed our clients to think strategically as well as creatively about their needs.

 

the full experience

I’ve touched every facet of the creative process, from project management to strategy to creative direction to, yes, design critique in the service of strategy and storytelling (but never because I just don’t like orange).

The end result is that I have a deep respect for every facet of the process and I know where my strengths lie (and where they don’t).


working with clients

I’ve been interfacing with clients—presenting my work, providing my perspective and often working one-on-one with them to execute their vision—for five years.

During that time (and informed by my four years of in-house work prior) I have honed my client communications skills and learned valuable lessons along the way.


finding the story

I like knowing what EBITDA stands for. I like sinking my teeth into something complex and opaque and breaking it down into bite-sized chunks.

My two favorite moments in the branding process are watching clients get passionate about what they do, and watching their eyes light up when they see their story come to life on the page.
